<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The process of globalization and the transformation of the industrial economy into knowledge-based economy (information society) have opened up new opportunities for the development of international relations in the social, industrial, cultural and trade spheres. It has also increased the migratory labor flows and demonstrated the need to develop new intercultural communication skills and new methods of administration and management in international context. Hence, the implementation and setting of management tasks in the international environment depend on the socio-cultural factors that represent the specific circumstances of decision-making processes.</p><p>The paper reveals the answers of participants in the sociological survey «Professional Intercultural Dialogue between Russia and France» (the method of semi-structured interviews and crisis episodes) regarding the effectiveness of various methods of intercultural education, as well as the attitudes of employees to the key problems of intercultural relations. Based on the received results the document provides a list of socio-cultural factors affecting the development of professional intercultural communicative competences.</p><p>In conclusion, the authors present a model of universal intercultural communicative competencies in accordance with the identified factors and show the correlation of these factors with the decision-making while solving the administrative problems of recruiting and training employees abroad.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>межкультурный</kwd><kwd>компетенция</kwd><kwd>социокультурные факторы</kwd><kwd>полуструктурированные интервью</kwd><kwd>критические эпизоды</kwd><kwd>триангуляция</kwd><kwd>межкультурное образование</kwd><kwd>межкультурная коммуникация</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>intercultural</kwd><kwd>competence</kwd><kwd>sociocultural factors</kwd><kwd>semi-structured interviews</kwd><kwd>critical episodes</kwd><kwd>triangulation</kwd><kwd>intercultural education</kwd><kwd>intercultural communication</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Bardin L.
